Miss it, miss out in Hardingstone

A year after the showhomes opened, Redrow is fast approaching a sell-out at Scholars Place in Hardingstone, Northampton, where the final home is now on sale.

The three-bedroom detached Warwick is a prime example of how Redrow’s Heritage Collection combines the traditional charm of ‘period’ properties with the style and convenience that comes with owning a brand new home.

The Arts & Crafts influence can be clearly seen in the laplarch boarding that enhances the roofline of the Warwick and in the decorative door cornice that creates an elegant entrance.

Step inside, and it’s a practical home perfect for a young family or couple starting out. At its heart is an open plan kitchen and dining room which spans the rear of the property, with a separate lounge at the front. Upstairs there are three generously sized bedrooms, including master with en-suite shower room to complement the family bathroom.

Based on the popularity of homes at Scholars Place, it won’t be long before it’s snapped up.

Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), says: “Scholars Place is now a well-established neighbourhood where people really want to live. It’s been a great success and now that we’re fast approaching a sell-out, time really is of the essence. The Warwick is a fantastic home that appeals to a cross section of buyers. It would make a great first home and because of its spaciousness it’s also well suited to young families. Easy to manage, efficient to run and with no costly maintenance to worry about, the Warwick would also be perfect for empty nesters who want to downsize and still have room for friends and family to stay.”

The Warwick at Scholars Place is priced at £259,950.

A Help to Buy equity loan could reduce the initial price of this spacious home to £207,960. Typically someone using Help to Buy should only need a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage from their chosen lender. The remaining 20% is covered by the equity loan, which crucially is interest free for five years.

Or, those with a house to sell could find they’re able to secure a buyer quickly and at full market value if they use Redrow’s Mastermove service. In some cases Redrow may even consider taking a customer’s property in part exchange for a speedy, stress-free move.
