Next Saturday (15 November), Gloucestershire residents are invited to get into the Christmas spirit by visiting Redrow’s development in Hardwicke, where they will be given the opportunity to learn some festive craft tips from a local designer, who has appeared on Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Britain.

House hunters and local residents will be welcomed from 11am until 4pm to the Balmoral showhome at Sellars Bridge, where they will be treated to mulled wine and mince pies from Janes Pantry and complimentary workshops from Jayne Emerson, a professionally trained textile designer.

Visitors to the free workshops will learn how to make felt robins and other Christmas decorations, which can take pride of place on their tree at home. Jayne will also be on hand to provide house hunters and residents with top tips on how to decorate their home for Christmas, giving their property that festive feel. Workshops will be running throughout the day.

Attendees to the event will also have the opportunity to take a look around the three showhomes at Sellars Bridge, which include the three bedroom Letchworth, four bedroom detached Sunningdale and four bedroom detached Balmoral.
Libby Bolton, area sales manager for Redrow (South West), said: “The festive period is often a time when you have lots of gatherings with friends and families at your house. It is lovely to have a home you can be proud of; whether that’s by creating an inviting festive interior or showing off your handmade decorations.

“We’re really pleased to be able to invite the community to this event and bring everyone together before the Christmas period really kicks in.”
