Properties are now on sale at Waters Edge after housebuilder Morris Homes opened the doors to its brand new development in Wordsley.

The first phase on Argyle Close includes of a mix of high quality three and four-bedroom homes, ideal for those looking to upgrade to a spacious family property. The homes are on sale from £239,750 and three properties have already been snapped up during the open weekend.

The development boasts a quiet canal-side location, with many homes overlooking the waterway, and is near to The Wordsley School and Brook Primary School.

The final range of homes will also include two-bedroom apartments, ideal for those looking to get onto the property ladder for the first time.

Buyers can take advantage of Help to Buy to get onto or move up the property ladder at Waters Edge. The scheme allows purchasers to put down a deposit of just 5% of the value of the home, and the Government will then provide a loan of up to 20% for those eligible, meaning a mortgage of only 75% is required.

Cindy Cade, regional sales director at Morris, said: “Waters Edge is in a coveted location with commuter links into Birmingham, and is situated in a stunning setting, with great views of the canal.

“We’ve already received a huge amount of interest about the properties available and are urging local buyers to speak to our experienced sales advisors for more information.”

The homes on sale at Waters Edge are priced from £239,750 or £191,800 with Help to Buy*. For buyers not using Help to Buy, Morris’ Part Exchange scheme is also available at the development. With the scheme Morris will purchase a buyer’s existing property for 100% of its market value**. This removes the need for estate agents and can significantly reduce the length of the moving process.
