New Limited Edition themed walking holidays

A selection of Limited Edition themed holidays – created by experienced walks leaders and only available in 2015 – are being highlighted by HF Holidays, the UK’s largest walking holiday organisation. 

For example, High Peaks of Snowdonia is an adventurous walking holiday where guests take on the challenge of climbing all of Snowdonia’s 15 peaks over 3000ft – including Snowdon, Tryfan, Glyder Fawr and Carnedd Dafydd – in a week.  The routes have been specially devised by two of HF Holidays’ walks leaders with daily walks of up to 12 miles with up to 3700ft of ascent in a day.  

This seven-night holiday costs £779 (or £644 with an early booking offer) with accommodation at the company’s Craflwyn Hall Country House, situated at the heart of an extensive estate close to the base of Snowdon.

Or, walk in the footsteps of Wainwright on his favourite Lake District fells on a seven-night holiday which is designed to complete Alfred’s favourite six peaks – Scafell Pike, Bowfell, Pillar, Great Gable, Blencathra and Crinkle Crags.  Wainwright’s Favourite Fells costs £779 (or £679 with an early booking offer) and is based at the company’s Derwent Bank Country House, situated on the shores of Derwent Water. 

Alternatively, find out about the Derbyshire tradition of well dressing – where pictures are made from living material and displayed by wells or other water.  Highlights of this three-night break include visiting the well dressings at Tissington and Etwall as well as walking on the Tissington Trail and the Bonnie Prince Charlie route.  Well Dressing Walks costs £369 (or £319 with an early booking offer) with accommodation at the company’s Country House in the village of Thorpe in the Derbyshire Dales.

All prices are per person, twin-share, inclusive of full-board and transport to/from the walks.
