En route to a new cycling adventure

New for 2015, Eurocamp has added five fantastic new road cycling parcs to its Active portfolio – offering the ideal base to explore world famous cycling routes.

The new additions include Eurocamp Active's Les Fontaines in the French Alps where holidaymakers can enjoy a dramatic location set in the very heart of the Haute Savoie region on the edge of Lake Annecy, not to mention at the foot of some of the area's most challenging cycling routes.

Free road cycling routes and maps available before and during trips are a welcome addition for keen cyclists, whilst the five lane waterslide, tennis, basketball and golf facilities are a great alternative to exploring the area on two wheels. The parc's restaurant and bar also offer the perfect retreat for refuelling after a long day on the road.

Out and about, a visit to La Grotte et Cascade de Seythenex – a 40 metre waterfall which can be traversed via a zip wire – is well worth a visit. The nearby traditional alpine town of Annecy has an array of traditional restaurants to offer, and the town's Palais de L'Île – the most photographed monument in France – is a must-see. A traffic free cycle track which runs along the shores of Lake Annecy is just a few minutes away from the parc.

A seven night break from 15 May 2015 staying in a 2 bedroom Esprit mobile home with decking at Eurocamp's Les Fontaines parc will cost from £210 per party, accommodation only.

Eurocamp Active's new road cycling parcs also include La Ravoire and La Ferme de la Serraz in the French Alps, Zell Am See in Austria and Playa Montroig on the Costa Dorada. For more information on Eurocamp Active and how to book visit eurocamp.co.uk.
