Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has responded to huge interest in its brand new homes in Wem, Shropshire, by announcing the release of a fresh collection of stunning properties.

The leading housebuilder’s Willmott Meadow development in Wem was a sell-out success, with savvy buyers acting quickly to snap up their favourite plots – so to meet the continuing demand, Taylor Wimpey is set to unveil a second phase, called Willmott Fields, later in the spring.

Aspiring purchasers looking for a high-quality home in a great location for a superb-value price are being urged to register their interest before the launch. Those who do so, and then go on to purchase a property at the development, will receive a £500 voucher to spend on Taylor Wimpey’s extensive range of interior Options!

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Wem continues to be an incredibly popular place to live for a wide range of buyers, and so we’re delighted to be opening up even more fantastic opportunities for people to own a brand new home within this pretty market town.

“Anyone interested in staking their claim at Willmott Fields should register their interest without delay to ensure they’re among the first to take their pick from the great home designs in this brand new collection.”

Guide prices have been released for the new selection of homes at Willmott Fields, which will include two-bedroom houses, priced from approximately £136,995, three-bedroom designs from approximately £158,995, and four-bedroom properties from approximately £219,995.

To make choosing one of these stunning homes even easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey will also offer a range of helpful homebuyer incentives, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and easymover, with full details available from the Sales Executive when the development is launched.

Help to Buy, for example, enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to access a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

The scheme is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for Help to Buy customers.

Alternatively, those upgrading to a new home at Willmott Fields with Part Exchange will receive an agreed offer price for their existing home, based on the average of independent professional valuations, and with Taylor Wimpey as their cash buyer, they can stay in their old place until their brand new home is ready to move into.

Enjoying an enviable location on the northern fringes of the pretty market town of Wem, Willmott Fields lies on the edge of picturesque open countryside and the rolling Shropshire hills.

Parents will appreciate that the development is a short distance from the well-regarded St Peter’s Primary School, rated ‘outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted report, while secondary education is provided at The Thomas Adams School, rated ‘good’.

Wem railway station offers direct services to Shrewsbury and Crewe, for connections to the north-west, Birmingham and London, while the M6 is only 25 miles away.

To register an interest in the new phase coming soon at Willmott Fields, property-seekers should go online at taylorwimpey.co.uk.
