Head to Derwentwater Marina for an afternoon of sailing, windsurfing, canoeing or rowing

Take a walk around Bassenthwaite Lake, or for the more adventurous, take the opportunity to climb Skiddaw

Witness the local nesting Opsreys. The best spot is Dodd Wood, where there are telescopes available to view the magnificent birds fishing
