If you’re looking for your perfect first home in a fantastic West Midlands location, why not head straight for Lovell’s Eden Valley development in Walsall?

Situated just over a mile from Walsall’s centre, this attractive development features some brilliant starter homes from £124,950 (or £99,960 after a Help to Buy Equity Loan) – a price at which there is no stamp duty to pay as it’s under the £125,000 threshold!

Move in with a 5% deposit through Help to Buy

“These homes represent incredible value for anyone wanting to take their first step on to the property ladder,” says Lovell field sales manager Sian Lewin. “Saving for a substantial deposit often presents a serious stumbling block for first-time buyers, so the availability of the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme is another big plus. Through Help to Buy, the Government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the cost of your new home, which means you’ll only need a five per cent cash deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage.

“Obviously, another major incentive for making the move to home ownership is that it can work out a lot cheaper; a survey earlier this year by the Halifax estimated that first-time buyers are almost ten per cent better off than those who rent. However, we know that buying your first home can feel daunting and our experienced team is always happy to offer advice on homebuying options – please just come in and talk to us.”

Buyers can snap up the popular Gayton end terrace home– a gorgeous two-bedroom property with a surprising amount of space and driveway parking for two vehicles – for just £131,950 at Eden Valley, with only £139 to pay in stamp duty! This home offers a generous living room with French doors to the garden and attractive kitchen / dining room with kitchen appliances including a Bosch hob and oven. The ground-floor layout is completed by the hall and cloakroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom, which benefits from an en-suite and fitted wardrobe, plus a second bedroom and the family bathroom.

Lovell also has the two-bedroom Keinton mid-terraced home, with two parking spaces, available at £124,950. The Keinton’s ground-floor accommodation features the kitchen (with Bosch oven and hob), cloakroom and a spacious living / dining room with French doors to the garden. The first-floor layout comprises the master bedroom with fitted wardrobe, second bedroom and the family bathroom. At less than £125,000, this home attracts zero stamp duty!

If you decide to move in at Eden Valley, you’ll join an established community with plenty to offer locally, as well as excellent transport links connecting you to the motorway network and the rest of the West Midlands. Walsall’s reputation as a leading Black Country shopping destination is being even further enhanced by ongoing retail and leisure developments while the town also offers a wealth of restaurants, bars and clubs. It’s also rich in green spaces – including the Mill Lane Local Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife, and stunning Walsall Arboretum with its parkland, lakes and woodland walks.

Going further afield is easy too with four railway stations offering direct travel into Birmingham New Street, making Eden Valley an ideal home for commuters. The main Walsall train station is a mile from Eden Valley while Junction 10 of the M6 is less than a three-mile drive away.

The marketing suite at Eden Valley, Beddows Road, Walsall WS3 1QB is open on Mondays from 11am to 5pm and from Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. For more information, visit lovellnewhomes.co.uk.
