Rollo UK chooses Volkswagen to expand fleet

UK-wide service to its customers.
Rollo UK, a ‘power solutions’ company, specialises in the sale, servicing and support of diesel generators and marine engines, and offers a complete service from installation and rental to service, maintenance and the supply of engine parts. The company, which originally began trading in 1933 and currently employs 58 staff, provides customers with full nationwide coverage via six strategically placed branch locations in Bristol, Leeds, Grimsby, Rochester, Southampton and Glasgow.
The vehicles have been financed through Arval, one of the UK’s leading pan-European leasing companies, which introduced Rollo to South Hereford Garages in Hereford. From the company’s Bristol headquarters, Rollo UK’s Finance Director, Carl Waterer said: ‘We would like to thank Arval for its co-operation and support in providing us with these lease contract vehicles. This substantial addition to our fleet, complete with livery, really enhances the market presence of an expanding Rollo UK, nationwide.
‘As a company we put our customers at the centre of our operation and are dedicated to ensuring they receive outstanding service. This is a philosophy which in our experience is obviously shared by both South Hereford Garages and Arval.
‘This is the first time we have specified Volkswagen as a preferred choice. But in addition to the manufacturer’s reputation for reliability – which is obviously very important – the space, access and overall vehicle safety benefits of both the Volkswagen Caddy and Transporter vans were a crucial factor in our decision. We have also been so impressed by the customer service provided by South Hereford Garages that we intend, where possible, to purchase all our future company vehicles from there.’
