The average British household spends as little as three hours and six minutes of quality time together each week, according to a study by David Lloyd. With long working hours, extensive commutes and daily fitness routines being the main culprits, 70 per cent of the parents polled confessed the only guaranteed quality time they spend with their family is on holiday.
