Continuing success for Lovell Homes’ award-winning Minchinhampton development – now nearing completion - has left just a final four homes available for sale at this sought-after location in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

What’s more, they include the development’s two former show properties – both fantastic family homes which have been professionally styled to create instant impact and have the added bonus of flooring, light fittings and curtains all included in the price!

“We’re extremely proud of these exceptional homes at The Paddocks and Old Common Mews which have all been designed and built to an incredibly high standard,” says Lovell regional sales manager Kelly Sharman. “This is a development which truly complements and enhances its surroundings thanks to the use of attractive local materials such as traditional Cotswold stone, and an equally impressive, carefully-designed landscaped setting.”

The success of the scheme, a partnership between Lovell and Stroud District Council has been underlined by its achievement of a WhatHouse? Award, one of the UK new homes industry’s most highly prized accolades.

Among just a handful of homes now available is the recently released four-bedroom detached Chelford former show home, with garage, at £470,000 (£376,000 after a Help to Buy: Equity Loan). On the ground-floor, the Chelford offers an impressive open plan kitchen and dining room space stretching from the front to the back of the property, plus an adjoining utility room. There’s also a generous dual aspect living room with French doors to the garden, as well as the hall and cloakroom. On the first floor is the master bedroom, with en suite and Hammonds fitted wardrobe, plus three further bedrooms (one with fitted wardrobe) and the family bathroom.

Also available is the four-bedroom detached Ilford former show home, with garage, at £429,995 (£343,996 after a Help to Buy: Equity Loan). This attractive property’s spacious ground-floor layout features an open-plan kitchen and dining room with French doors to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with high-specification Bosch integrated double oven and hob plus integrated fridge freezer and dish washer and has an adjoining utility room. Also on the ground floor is a separate large living room offering plenty of space for socialising and unwinding, plus the hall and cloakroom. Upstairs is the stylish master bedroom with en-suite and Hammonds fitted wardrobe plus three additional bedrooms and the family bathroom.

Just two other properties are available: the four-bedroom detached Pickford and Rainford house styles, each priced at £475,000 (£380,000 after a Help to Buy: Equity Loan).

“These properties are all highly desirable family homes offering inspiring but practical room layouts, perfect for modern life,” says Lovell regional sales manager Kelly Sharman. “Homebuyers with a property to sell can also take advantage of our Helping Hands Plus scheme – a great initiative which takes the stress out of the buying and selling process and which can also be combined with the Government-backed Equity Loan scheme. We know from talking with homebuyers that selling their own home is one of the biggest headaches when it comes to moving. Helping Hands Plus works by putting homebuyers in touch with a home purchase company who will look at purchasing their existing property at market value. This allows them to sell their home to a guaranteed buyer with no estate agent’s fees to pay and no risk of getting stuck in a chain. The other major advantage is that you can combine Helping Hands Plus with the Government-backed Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme, so you can also purchase your new home with a deposit of just five per cent.”

Situated in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Minchinhampton is just over three miles from Stroud and nine-and-a-half miles from Cirencester. Located between two valleys and surrounded by glorious countryside and common land, this attractive market town is full of character, with many buildings dating from the 17th and 18th century.
