Home-hunters in Birmingham don’t have long to wait now for the release of a prestigious collection of properties at Taylor Wimpey’s Highfield Gardens II development in Edgbaston.

The hoarding surrounding the development is now up, signalling the start of construction work on this eagerly-anticipated second phase of development, which comprises 36 stylish one and two-bedroom apartments and just seven spacious four-bedroom townhouses in a prime suburban location.

The development has been carefully designed to complement the existing properties in this leafy residential neighbourhood and Taylor Wimpey has demonstrated its commitment to engaging with the local community by keeping local residents well informed of the timetable for development works.

These exclusive properties are expected to be released for sale in August, but with demand already running exceptionally high, prospective purchasers are advised to register their interest now to ensure they’re kept up to date with the latest information about the development launch.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted that the hoarding surrounding Highfield Gardens II has now been erected, which means that work can start on this long-awaited phase of the development.

“It’s not long to wait for a new home here, so there’s no time to waste for anyone hoping to secure their perfect property – I would urge them to register their interest now to avoid missing out!”

External demolition works will be taking place at the development for eight weeks from June, while temporary traffic lights will be installed in Highfield Road for four weeks from July. The new homes will go on sale in August, when the show apartment will also re-open.

The development enjoys a prime location in Edgbaston, and offers the chance for homeowners to attain a wonderful balance between their work lives and leisure time.

Simpsons Michelin-starred restaurant, ambient gastro pubs, numerous shops and a popular delicatessen are all within a one-mile radius of Highfield Gardens II, putting a broad range of amenities on residents’ doorsteps.

Edgbaston is well established as a centre of sporting excellence, with Warwickshire County Cricket Club, the Priory Tennis Club and the Edgbaston Golf Club all located in the neighbourhood, while a number of leading private and independent schools are located nearby.

Two railway stations – Five Ways and University – provide commuters with fast, direct services into the city centre, and drivers will appreciate that the A38 can be easily reached for links across the Midlands and to the motorway network.
