21st June 2016 Print

Gloucestershire homebuyers in search of their perfect property in an attractive rural setting will soon have the chance to find their ideal match at Taylor Wimpey’s The Halt development in the village of Cam.

The leading housebuilder has begun initial groundworks at this forthcoming collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes in a peaceful yet well-connected location, paving the way for construction to begin over the next few weeks.

The first plots are set to be released for sale at The Halt later in the year – and anyone interested in taking their pick is being urged to register their interest today.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to announce that works are now under way on site at our much-anticipated The Halt development in Cam, which means that the first release of beautiful new homes has now moved another step closer.

“With a superb range of properties on offer to suit all requirements, we’re expecting considerable interest in this exciting new development – so I would advise would-be movers to register their interest now to make sure they’re kept informed about our future launch.”

Taylor Wimpey’s The Halt will provide a wealth of choice for purchasers in a range of circumstances, from first-time buyers and downsizers through to professionals and growing families looking to step up the property ladder in style.

Detailed plans and prices for the first available plots will be revealed at the development launch, and anyone who registers their interest will receive the latest updates as soon as further information is available.

Situated on the northern edge of Cam and bordered by picturesque open countryside, the new homes at The Halt will be set around an attractive central area of landscaped open space including an equipped children’s playground.

Cam is a thriving rural village community which offers a host of local facilities for everyday needs, including a Tesco supermarket, a post office, a newsagent, a hardware store and a choice of takeaways.

The development is ideal for commuters thanks to the close proximity of Cam and Dursley railway station less than half a mile from home, putting Bristol (35 to 40 minutes), and Gloucester (15 to 20 minutes) within easy reach. Junction 13 of the M5 is only five miles away for convenient links to the Midlands and the South West.

Families will appreciate the good choice of high-performing primary schools available in Cam and neighbouring villages, while Rednock School for secondary-age children is also nearby and rated ‘good’ by Ofsted. There’s also a number of independent schools within a 15-mile radius of home at Minchinhampton, Stonehouse, Westonbirt and Tockington.

To register an interest in the new homes coming soon at The Halt, located off Box Road, Cam, Gloucestershire, GL11 5DJ, property-seekers can visit the Taylor Wimpey website at taylorwimpey.co.uk.
