The launch of Taylor Wimpey’s exciting new Middlefield Spring development in the quaint village of Knowle in the West Midlands has moved a step closer – with construction work now well under way.

The leading local housebuilder began work earlier this month at this superb collection of 110 properties off Barton Drive. A selection of wonderful two, three and four bedroom homes are offered for sale in a range of detached, semi-detached, terraced houses and apartments.

Property-seekers will soon be able to take their pick from these fabulous homes, with the first plots due to be released for sale in September 2016.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the exceptional new homes at Middlefield Spring is urged to register their interest now.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re really pleased with how things are coming along at our brand new Middlefield Spring development – it means we are getting closer to unveiling the first selection of beautiful new homes!

“This stunning development is one of the most eagerly anticipated sites in the region and is generating a great deal of interest – so I would encourage potential buyers to act quickly and register their interest without delay to ensure they receive the very latest news and information as soon as it becomes available.”

Taylor Wimpey will provide a number of significant financial contributions to the local community as part of the new development, including £382,142 that will go towards education, £17,500 for footpath works and £9,519 to the NHS.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council will also receive £786,060 under the New Homes Bonus to spend within the area.

Situated in a secluded spot on the edge of an established residential area, Middlefield Spring is within two miles of Knowle’s charming high street, which boasts a wonderful selection of independent boutiques, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops alongside a high-quality butcher and delicatessen.

Bustling Solihull, meanwhile, is less than four miles from home for a wider choice of shopping, entertainment and leisure opportunities, including John Lewis and many other big name stores at Touchwood, one of the region’s premier retail destinations.

Warwickshire’s attractive rural landscapes are on the doorstep and the peaceful towpaths of the Grand Union Canal are only a mile away, while the green open spaces of Knowle Park are also within walking distance.

Middlefield Spring also benefits from being close to a number of well-regarded local schools, including Dorridge Primary School, St George and St Teresa Catholic Primary School, Knowle C of E Primary Academy and Arden Academy.

For commuters, Dorridge railway station is under a mile away for regular direct services to Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill, as well as to London Marylebone. Road links are good due to the close proximity of the M42, M40 and A34, while the NEC and Birmingham Airport are both around seven miles away.
