Lloyds Bank launches 40 month 0% interest offer on balance transfers

Lloyds Bank has launched a 40 month, 0% interest balance transfer offer – its longest ever.

The Platinum Credit Card also offers 0% interest on purchases made during the first six months of account opening.

To qualify for the offer, after meeting standard application criteria customers must make a minimum balance transfer of £100 within the first 90 days of account opening. The card is available online from today.

Paul Gordon, managing director of credit cards for Lloyds Bank, said: “The 40 month interest free period on our Platinum Credit Card is our longest ever and a great proposition for those looking to consolidate their credit arrangements from other credit cards and store cards into one place.”

The Lloyds Bank Platinum Credit Card is available to new and existing customers, providing that existing customers do not already own two Lloyds Bank Credit Cards. Existing customers can transfer balance from a non-Lloyds Bank credit card to the Platinum Credit Card, but cannot transfer balance from an existing Lloyds Bank credit card.
