Home-hunters hoping to make a quick and easy move to their perfect place are realising the many benefits of buying a brand new property with help from Taylor Wimpey.

The leading housebuilder has launched a new campaign – Don’t Make Do, Buy New! – to show why people don’t have to put up with a home that doesn’t suit their needs – whether it’s too small for their growing family, too cold and draughty in the winter or in need of some serious renovation or repair work.

Rather than making do, they can buy new – and, thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s fantastic range of helpful homebuyer incentives, they can save themselves a great deal of time, money and hassle in the process!

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Many people make do with their current situation because they’re put off by the thought of moving or think they can’t afford it – but we want to show how easy it can be to buy brand new with Taylor Wimpey.

“We offer a wide range of property designs, so purchasers can find the perfect match for their lifestyle – and then provide a variety of incentives to make their move even easier and more affordable, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and easymover.

“Then, as their new home is being built, customers can choose from our stunning range of interior Options to really make it their own, before they even get the keys.

“And once they’ve moved in, there’s no worrying about expensive repairs which can often come hand-in-hand with an older property – and modern energy-efficient central heating, insulation and double-glazing means that their new home is cheaper to run too. It’s a win-win situation!”

The Help to Buy scheme enables both eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of the full price of their new home, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Meanwhile, the easymover scheme can take away the worry involved in selling a home. Purchasers can take their pick from a choice of Taylor Wimpey homes and then let the housebuilder help find a buyer for their current property, usually within just a few weeks and sometimes in as little as a fortnight.

Alternatively, Part Exchange customers trading up to selected family-size houses receive an agreed offer price for their existing property, based on an evaluation of independent professional valuations. With Taylor Wimpey acting as their cash buyer, they can then relax in their old place until their brand new home is ready to move into.
