Since its launch in 2013, over 150,000 people have achieved their aspiration of home ownership thanks to the Government’s flagship new build home ownership scheme, Help to Buy. New research has also found that for 82% of homeowners who used Help to Buy, buying their home would not have been possible without the scheme . Understanding that many buyers need the scheme to purchase the home they desire, award-winning developer, Countryside, is proud to offer Help to Buy on all of the properties at its Saffron Walden based development, Mandeville Place, making it easier for residents to purchase their dream home in a highly desirable area.

Help to Buy provides buyers with an opportunity to purchase a property with just a five per cent deposit, which is then supplemented by up to a 20 per cent equity loan from the government, interest free for the first five years.

Mandeville Place is an exclusive development of traditional-style two, three and four bedroom homes which have been designed to reflect the character of their setting in the picturesque market town of Saffron Walden.

Chris Bladon, Managing Director of Countryside’s New Homes and Communities Eastern Region comments: “We are very happy to be able to offer home buyers Help to Buy on all of the properties at Mandeville Place. We understand that getting on the property ladder can be difficult, so we are pleased to be making the process of home buying that little bit easier. Thanks to the varied size and layouts of the properties at Mandeville Place we are confident that there will be a home to suit any buyer looking to make a fresh start in a new home, in the historic market town of Saffron Walden.”

The stylish two bedroom semi-detached Osprey house design provides buyers with a well-equipped kitchen and an open plan living/dining area, with French doors leading to the garden, which is perfect for entertaining. Boasting an open plan kitchen/family/dining area with access to a private garden, the pretty three bedroom semi-detached Elder house design has a stylish kitchen with integrated appliances. The first floor offers a generous master bedroom with en suite and fitted wardrobes plus two bedrooms and a family bathroom.

All homes at Mandeville Place will be built with traditional brick and render cladding in the typical Essex vernacular.
