A family Christmas means loads of fun - thanks to Vauxhall Movano!

It’s not easy to imagine the 8,000 tonnes of wrapping paper the country will get through this festive season or the 32-million metres of fairy lights we’ll string up (that’s enough to circle the world 25 times). So to try to make sense of it all here’s the Vauxhall Movano Van Guide to Christmas:
We’ll buy on average six-million Christmas trees this year which would require 142,858 seriously big Movano vans to deliver. The 10-million turkeys will need 6,173 van loads while the nation’s 840-million Brussels sprouts (that’s 15,000 tonnes or the weight of 37 Jumbo Jets) would call for a mere 495 vans, although there’d probably be several more required for the air freshener afterwards!
Looking forward to dessert would entail 3,424 Movano vans to deliver the 175-million mince pies, 4,674 van loads of wine for the 35-million bottles we’ll drink and not forgetting 5,987 vans for the 25-million Christmas puddings!
Of course we’ll also be sending 1 billion Christmas Cards (28,058 vans worth) and consuming 12 million jars of pickles with our turkey and Brussels sprouts, which would involve a further 635 vans.
So whilst wrapping your Christmas presents with some of the 8,000 tonnes of wrapping paper we go through – enough to wrap up the isle of Guernsey should one so wish – spare a thought for all the hard working vans and their drivers out there this Christmas!
