Quick-off-the-mark home-hunters in Gloucestershire are being encouraged to be wise and buy new at Abode, Taylor Wimpey’s in-demand development in Bishop’s Cleeve.

There’s a superb range of stunning family-size properties currently available at Abode, including three-bedroom houses priced from £270,000 and four-bedroom designs from £317,000.

To make choosing one of these high-quality new homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a variety of helpful homebuyer incentives on selected plots – including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and easymover.

The fabulous four-bedroom, Plot 278 – The ‘Maitland’, priced at £329,000 and is available with the Help to Buy scheme, which enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to access a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage of £246,750 and just a 5% deposit of £16,450!

Danielle Heard, Acting Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, says: “Many people want to buy a brand new home but worry they won’t be able to afford it, so instead they end up making do with what they’ve got.

“We want to show aspiring purchasers that they don’t have to make do with their current situation because they can buy new at Abode using one of our brilliant incentives, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and easymover.

“I’d advise anyone dreaming of stepping up the property ladder in style to get in touch without delay and find out more about the beautiful new homes on sale at Abode.”

Plot 278 – The Maitland boasts a wealth of flexible living accommodation across three floors, including a good-sized living/dining room with double doors providing access to the garden, a stylish kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway. Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to three bedrooms and a family bathroom, while a lavish en-suite master bedroom enjoys appealing seclusion on the top floor. Outside, the property benefits from a garage and allocated parking.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for customers who take advantage of the scheme.

The Part Exchange scheme sees purchasers trading up to a new home at Abode receive an agreed offer price for their existing property, based on an evaluation of independent professional valuations. With Taylor Wimpey acting as their cash buyer, they can stay in their old place until their new home is ready.

Alternatively, under easymover, customers can reserve their new house and then sit back and relax while Taylor Wimpey helps to find a buyer for their existing home – usually within a few weeks and sometimes in as little as a fortnight!

Located just three miles north of Cheltenham, Abode enjoys a fantastic setting in the beautiful village of Bishop’s Cleeve, which dates back to the 8th century and still features historic buildings and thatched cottages.

Bishop’s Cleeve offers a range of shops and amenities, including the quaint Tarlings Yard with its independent shops and cafés, while Cheltenham boasts an extensive selection of high street shops and department stores.

Parents will appreciate that there is a well-regarded village school, Bishop’s Cleeve Primary School, which is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted. Meanwhile, commuters can enjoy easy access to the M5 for routes to Bristol and the West Midlands.

To learn more about buying new at Abode, house-hunters should visit the development’s Sales and Information Centre, located at 18 Vale Road, Bishop’s Cleeve, Gloucestershire, GL52 8ER, and open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
