Time is running out for home-hunters to secure one of the final properties available at Willmott Fields, Taylor Wimpey’s near sell-out development in Wem, Shropshire.

Eager purchasers have been quick to take their pick of the plots on sale in this popular location and now just a handful of the superb new homes remain up for grabs, each available with a £1,000 contribution towards stamp duty!

With demand continuing to run high, property-seekers are advised to act now to snap up their ideal home – before someone else beats them to it.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’ve now sold most of the plots at Willmott Fields, so time is running out to secure one of the final high-quality homes we have available in this sought-after location.

“Considering how quickly the properties have already sold here, we don’t expect the remaining homes to be available for long, so potential purchasers should contact us without delay or they will face missing out altogether!”

Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives at Willmott Fields, including Part Exchange, easymover and the Help to Buy scheme, which has been used to purchase two-thirds of homes at the development.

Under Help to Buy, eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for up to 20% of the full price of their new home – meaning they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%!

The final homes remaining for sale at Willmott Fields include:

The three-bedroom ‘Flatford’ from £169,995
The two-bedroom ‘Canford’ from £144,995

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Enjoying an enviable location on the northern fringes of the pretty market town of Wem, Willmott Fields lies on the edge of picturesque open countryside and rolling Shropshire hills.

Wem has been a market town since 1202 and numerous small speciality shops line the central streets, while a swimming and lifestyle centre has recently opened. Willmott Fields is a short distance from St Peter’s Primary School, rated ‘outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted report, while The Thomas Adams School for secondary-age students is rated ‘good’.

Wem railway station offers direct services to Shrewsbury and Crewe for connections to the north-west, Birmingham and London, while the M6 is only 25 miles away.

To stand a chance of securing one of the final plots at Willmott Fields, home-hunters can visit the Sales Centre, located off Whitchurch Road, Wem, Shropshire, SY4 5AQ, and open Thursday to Monday between 11am and 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
