Fiat Professional among top runners in van CO2 database

The online database – the largest of its kind in Europe – will allow potential van users to search for commercial vehicles across the market, and compare their CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
It’s not just low CO2 figures that set Fiat Professional vehicles apart from their rivals – the Fiorino’s combined fuel consumption figure of 64.2 mpg makes it an obvious choice for money-conscious businesses. And the Doblos’s figure of 52.3 mpg is among the best in its class.
Among the top-performing eco-friendly vehicles from Fiat Professional – the commercial vehicle arm of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA – are:
Fiorino Cargo 1.3 MultiJet 75 Comfort-Matic – 64.2 mpg (combined), 116g/km
Fiorino Cargo 1.3 MultiJet 75 – 62.8 mpg (combined), 119 g/km
Fiorino Combi 5-seat 1.3 MultiJet 75 – 62.8 mpg (combined), 119 g/km
Grande Punto 1.3 MultiJet 75 – 62.8 mpg (combined), 119 g/km
Doblo Cargo 1.3 MultiJet 75 Extra Payload – 54.3 mpg (combined), 130 g/km
Doblo Cargo 1.3 MultiJet 75 High Roof – 52.3 mpg (combined), 143 g/km
“Fiat’s commercial vehicles are well-known for their style, versatility and, above all, environmental friendliness and value for money,” says Gerry Clarke, director, Fiat Professional UK. “So it’s pleasing to see us so high up the Department for Transport database, which offers an independent confirmation of the claims we have long been making about our vans.”
