A new neighbourhood of homes has recently launched at Beaulieu, Countryside and L&Q’s incredibly popular development in Chelmsford, Essex. Creating a grand entrance to Beaulieu Keep, an impressive sculptural piece is due to be unveiled later in the year, representing a regal reflection of a stag under a tree, fabricated from zinc-coated steel and set on a crown base. The intricate spherical sculpture and the deer sculptures located around the pond have been designed to reflect the heritage of the site, a former deer park owned by King Henry VIII, as part of his Tudor Palace and estate parkland. The sculptures form part of a complete programme of public art commissioned by Countryside and L&Q, and are central to the masterplan for Beaulieu.
The homes at Beaulieu Keep are within close proximity of the new Beaulieu Square Neighbourhood Centre, located just off White Hart Lane, which has been designed to serve as the community hub for the whole development.
