With the first new homes poised for completion – developer Linden Home West Yorkshire is offering to help curb the cost of moving in the run up to Christmas.

A brand new selection of homes near Bradford is already creating a buzz with buyers, and has attracted its first sales from plan.

The Brompton Fold development at Apperley Bridge will comprise a mix of 63 fantastic two, three and four-bedroom homes in a range of styles to suit all lifestyle requirements and budgets.

Among the house designs proving popular is the three-bedroom Marston. A perfect home for the first time buyer or young family, the ground floor offers a spacious kitchen and dining room with separate lounge.

The three bedrooms and the family bathroom are located on the second floor. Prices for the Marston start from £221,950 – but buyers have the chance to curb the cost of moving through the Help to Buy scheme.

Here’s how it works:

- H2B is not just for first time buyers, eligible existing homeowners can also benefit.

- You only need a minimum five per cent deposit

- The Government will lend you up 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan – interest free for the first five years, and which can be repaid at any time, or on the sale of your home.

- Buyers need only to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society.

The self-contained village of Apperley Bridge is just 15 minutes by car from Bradford and around half an hour from Leeds, and regular trains run to each of the centres. Leeds Bradford airport is also just four miles away.
