According to research by Zoopla, it takes potential purchasers less than 30 minutes to decide whether a new home is right for them, with almost a quarter (24%) admitting to knowing within ten minutes or less. With first impressions being so important, a new show home has recently launched at Countryside’s St Luke’s Park development in Runwell, Essex. Designed by JSP Interiors, the Wakeford show home showcases a welcoming example of the homes available at this beautiful development.

Set within 200 acres of landscaped grounds, St Luke’s Park comprises an exceptional collection of 575 traditional style two, three, four and five-bedroom houses and apartments. The new homes are surrounded by mature trees and woodland, with tranquil woodland walkways, a carefully refurbished Grade II listed chapel, a proposed new primary school and a range of community facilities.

Offering generous accommodation over three floors, The Wakeford is an attractive three bedroom house providing plenty of space for all the family. Mandi Boydell, Creative Director at JSP Interiors explains how designing the new show home offers potential purchasers inspiration: “The Wakeford at St Luke’s Park is a home with a traditional look externally, but with a host of features internally that help to make a modern, well designed family home. We have chosen furniture and accessories to enhance the open plan interior space focusing on creating a family home that is truly aspirational. We've built on a base of neutral taupes, warm soft gold and added an accent of crushed berry in the principal rooms.”

Chris Bladon, Managing Director of New Homes and Communities Eastern Region at Countryside said: “The new show home has been carefully crafted to create an inviting example of what living at St Luke’s Park is like. We understand that prospective purchasers are quick to make up their mind when searching for their ideal home and hope guests will be inspired by the beautiful interiors on display. We are very excited to welcome house hunters to visit the show homes, so they can see for themselves all that the development has to offer.”

The ground floor of the Wakeford features an open plan living, dining and stylish kitchen area with integrated kitchen appliances. Double French doors open onto the garden and large windows maximise natural light and space. On the first floor is the impressive master bedroom with luxurious en suite and expansive wardrobe space, a double bedroom, the family bathroom and also a study, which could also be used as a fourth bedroom. Providing plentiful space for all the family, the top floor features a second double bedroom, with en suite, which would be perfect as a guest room or a teenage retreat.

Talking about the interior design of the second floor, Mandi said: “One of the most interesting rooms to design was the top floor bedroom suite. We've designed it as an indulgent room for a lucky teenage girl, with tones of warm grey, soft blush pink and warm metallic silver. The room is large enough to zone into sleep, play and act as a dressing area, just what every teenager needs!”

An excellent internal specification features throughout all of the homes at St Luke’s Park, with contemporary fitted kitchens and a full range of energy efficient integrated appliances, while the modern bathrooms feature sleek chrome fixtures and fittings.

St Luke’s Park is ideally located approximately six miles from Basildon, ten miles from Chelmsford and 12 miles from Southend On Sea, offering ample opportunities for shopping and leisure pursuits. The development is located in a key commuter spot with direct access to London Liverpool Street in 40 minutes from nearby Wickford and Rayleigh train stations. It also benefits from excellent road connections, with the development close to both the A130 and A127 which offer links to the A12, A13 and M25.

Prices at St Luke’s Park currently start from £419,995 for a three-bedroom house, £544,995 for a four-bedroom house and £734,995 for a five-bedroom house. For more information, visit countryside-properties.co.uk.
