More than 50 new houses have been released onto the market in Bristol as a leading housebuilder pushes on with its popular development.

Work is under way as Persimmon Homes Severn Valley has launched its next phase of 56 properties at the thriving Emersons Green development, off Honeysuckle Road.

The new village community features a diverse range of around 1,700 high quality houses and apartments, commercial properties, leisure facilities and local shops and services.

The Rosary, as the new phase is known, offers a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with house hunters able to purchase off-plan in the coming weeks.

Carly Spear, head of sales at Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, said: “We’re delighted to be pushing ahead with the next phase at Emersons Green.

“This has been a very successful development for us and we know that the demand is there for good quality, affordable homes in Bristol.

“The development is in a great area, with a ‘village feel’ location, yet close to Bath and Bristol. House hunters will need to be quick to secure their preferred plots at the development.”

Buying off-plan has many advantages including being able to personalise the property by selecting things like floor tiles, wall tiles and kitchen units, added Carly.

The popular Government-backed Help to Buy scheme is available at The Rosary. Under the initiative, the Government provides an equity loan of 20 per cent and the buyers produce a deposit of five per cent, leaving a 75 per cent mortgage.

The housebuilder also offers Part Exchange and Home Change schemes, helping those with an existing property to sell to make their next move.

The new community is made up by a consortium of housebuilders, bringing much-needed homes and employment opportunities to the area.
