Anderson & Nunn impress at Brampton

Suzuki team riders, Brad Anderson and Carl Nunn, were on flying form at the penultimate round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship, held at Brampton in Cumbria at the weekend, as both riders recorded fastest race lap times as they rode to top-five positions in both MX1 and MX2.

In the MX2 class, Carl Nunn topped the Suzuki rider results, qualifying second quickest on his RM-Z250 and going on to record a pair of fifth place finishes, while setting the fastest lap time in race two to take sixth overall on the day. Following the Suso MVR-D racer home in race one was Suzuki Swift rider Jake Nicholls in seventh, Relentless MX rider Lewis Gregory in eighth and Elliott Banks Browne in 10th. Race two saw Elliott finish in eighth and Jason Dougan in ninth.

Qualifying third fastest in MX1, Anderson was able to set the fastest lap times in both races, eventually going on to finish race one in fifth, going one better in the second of the day to cross the line in fourth place, taking fourth overall on the day.

The final round of the championship takes place at the famous Hawkstone Park venue on 21st September.
