Motul success for Edmondson

Relentless Suzuki Enduro rider Paul Edmondson blitzed the second round of the Motul GB Hare Scramble Championship at Nantmawr Quarry over the weekend.

The challenging course near Oswestry, Shropshire, held no barriers for Fast Eddy – he has competed there on several occasions and always posted excellent results in the annual Tough One event held every January.

Sunday saw him tackle the rock strewn quarry on his trusty Suzuki RM250 two-stroke, which was perfectly suited to the conditions and highly technical course, which was littered with rutted rocky climbs, huge puddles, off-camber turns and a tough special test.

A gruelling two and a half hour race saw Edmondson take the win some five minutes ahead of his nearest rival, a superb achievement over the tough terrain in the rain soaked quarry.

Edmondson’s speed and technical skills were impressive and consistent throughout.
