Anderson ends season on a high as Karro impresses

Suzuki Team Suzuki Swift rider, Brad Anderson, returned for the last round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship held at Hawkstone Park in Shropshire at the weekend, putting himself back on the podium after recent injury, with Suso MVR-D rider Mattis Karro impressing on the RM-Z250.

With Anderson back for the last round of the series, he was quick to impress on the RM-Z450, qualifying eighth quickest, before going on to finish race one in sixth. By the second race, the Suzuki Swift rider was back on the pace, riding hard behind eventual winner Ray Rowson to finish runner-up and third overall on the day.

In the MX2 category, it was Suso MVR-D rider Mattis Karro that was to impress, storming to a pair of strong fourth place finishes and ending the day in fourth overall.
Following Karro home in race one was Elliot Banks Browne in sixth, Lewis Gregory in ninth, with Marcus Norlen topping out the the top-ten.

Following Karro home in race two was team-mate Carl Nunn in fifth, with Norlen improving to finish seventh on his RM-Z250.

Suzuki GB's George Cheeseman commented on the weekend, "Well done to all of our teams this weekend. It's been a tough season for everyone, but we've seen some great rides, impressive feats and above all complete determination. Thank you to everyone involved in our 2008 efforts."
