Barr starts 2009 test programme at Wheeldon Farm

Martin, who has signed to race in the 2009 Maxxis British Championships on the Relentless MX RM-Z250, visited Wheeldon Farm last week, utilising the indoor facility to get used to the 250 and 450, while testing various set-up configurations on his new race bikes.
Talking about his Wheeldon test, Barr commented, "Today has been really positive for us. I'm really clicking with both the RM-Z250 and 450, and it's even better to complete these tests in the warm and dry. I'm looking forward to getting more time on the bike in the coming weeks."
Team manager Rob Hooper, added, "Wheeldon provides a great facility for us to consistently test both rider technique and components. At this time of year we normally suffer issues with weather and of course track condition, but at Wheeldon these problems are completely eliminated. We move to outdoor tracks later this month, before hopefully returning to Wheeldon before the season starts."
Also in attendance, but unable to ride due to recovering from injury were team members Jamie Law and Scott Probert, who took the opportunity to see the indoor facility.
