Strong start for Dunn in first British Masters

Capitalizing on early good track conditions, Dunn took his RM85 through to a worthy third position overall in Saturday's qualifying races, gating mid-pack in the first race to come through to finish in second place, before starting much better in the second, quickly closing down and passing the leader, before a crash after trying to pass a backmarker, left him to remount and settle for second position at the flag. Not only securing consistent points James was to record the fastest lap times in both races.
Sunday was to see some close racing from the top three with Dunn battling hard against rivals Flemming and Norris in the first race of the day crossing the line third. The second race would see a great start with the holeshot, but due to the change in track conditions a mistake was made and Dunn crossed the line in second place, he comes away from the weekend with a second overall and a great start to this championship.
At the same meeting Truman was to ride to the limit entering the MX1 Pro class on his RM-Z450. With a qualifying position of 22nd this was something to build on through the rest of Sunday. The first race was to prove Tim could run easily in the mix, moving up to 11th place, before a puncture put an disappointing end to his race, putting him further back down the field. The second race would see Truman overcome a bad start to come through the pack a well deserved 12th, taking 19th overall on the day.
