Strong performance for MVR-D Suzuki at Langrish

In MX1, it would be Carl Nunn, who would end the day as the team's lead rider, but only just, as teammate James Noble stormed ahead in race-one to finish just a place higher in fifth spot. Despite a strong start for Nunn in the first race, where he took the hole-shot, arm pump would see Nunn settle for sixth spot in the first, before a reverse of fortunes in the second race saw Nunn ride to an identical finishing position and Noble a place lower in seventh, due to an early stall.
With Latvian sensation, Mattis Karro, continuing to impress in MX2, the young RM-Z250 rider would fly the flag in true style yet again, storming to another podium in race-one, despite having never seen the Langrish track before Sunday. In race two, a pair of crashes saw him fight back to a credible 12th place, despite injuring his leg in the first crash.
Talking about another solid weekend, team manager, Mark Chamberlain, commented, "Considering we all thought Langrish would be a tough round, we're pleased with how things have gone. To leave round two of MX1, second and third in the standings is great, and of course with Mattis in MX2 we've got a real sensation on our hands. It's too easy to forget that he's never seen these tracks before and yet we're leaving with podium finishes. With sand tracks coming up in the next few rounds, we're all really confident of greater things."
