If you’re a business or brand with vehicles on the road, turning them into advertising billboards is an excellent investment.

Many of the brands we know and love today have vehicles moving up and down the highways, and every time we travel, they help bring those brands front of mind.

So branding your vehicle fleet is a worthwhile exercise.

But, this can be expensive, so we’re here to help you understand the options and the costs involved so you can make the best decision and save some money if you need to.

Custom waterproof stickers

This is the lowest cost option.

Branding a vehicle when using this option doesn’t have to be crazy expensive. It can simply be some cut vinyl lettering made from waterproof stickers.

You need to use waterproof decals to withstand the harsh environments they encounter.

Just think about it, a car gets wet, the roads are covered with grime and salt, and then cleaned using high-pressure water. This is quite an intense environment.

Cut lettering can work really well on the back of a van or truck. Try keeping it simple to your company logo, slogan, phone number, and website.

Part wrap

Part wraps can be really effective for not a tremendous amount of money. A part wrap, for example, could cost as little as $1500.

That may seem expensive, but the impact it can have is remarkable. However, it requires a little bit of creativity and ingenuity to make the most impact with only a partial wrap.

This example is great, and you can see how a part wrap is well worth the investment.

A partial wrap is printed on cast vinyl and applied to part of the vehicle, much like a full wrap. Custom stickers are then used to add small details such as phone numbers or web addresses.

Full vehicle wrap

Wrapping the whole car, truck, or whatever other vehicles you have in your fleet is definitely the premium option.

Just check out this example - it looks incredible!

This Google Street View car will be driving hundreds of thousands of miles over every single road in the area, so it’s great for Google’s brand to gain even more exposure.

If a massive brand such as Google still feels it’s worth wrapping their cars, it’s definitely important for smaller brands. Thousands of people will see just a single car each day.

Final thoughts

We hope this article has helped convince you of the need to get stickers on your car or fleet of vehicles. The impact it can have on your brand can be massive.
