Don't get caught up in T5 chaos without adequate protection

According to news reports last week a staggering 1,000 bags still go missing at Heathrow's Terminal 5 everyday. Unfortunate passengers travelling from this terminal are around three times more likely to suffer the inconvenience of delayed baggage compared to passengers flying with British Airways from other terminals and UK airports.

With the risk of having a bag delayed running at 11-1, ASDA Financial Services is calling on passengers to ensure they are adequately protected against such an eventuality.

Gideon Ingham, ASDA Financial Services comments: "Taking out adequate travel insurance shouldn't be seen as an optional extra, but an essential must-have. Travellers face all sorts of risks when they go on holiday from falling sick to having their baggage delayed and could end up seriously out of pocket and inconvenienced if they don't take out cover."
