Privilege benefits help beat the January blues

15th January 2007 Print
Privilege is a name that implies something special - and that is exactly how the insurer is aiming to make customers feel by launching a new range of benefits for people taking out car, home or breakdown insurance.

Insurance is usually a purchase made grudgingly, with the true value only appreciated when a claim has to be made. However, Privilege’s new benefits programme will give customers an immediate return on their investment, offering money off a raft of lifestyle, leisure and food and drink products.

Brands such as La Tasca, the Cotswold Company, Virgin Holidays and the Orient Express are all offering exclusive discounts to Privilege customers, with new discounts promised over the coming months. Customers can check the latest deals online or sign up for regular email updates.

As well as leisure, lifestyle and food and drink offers, Privilege’s customer benefits web site will showcase exclusive customer discounts on other Privilege products. For example, car insurance customers are guaranteed to save £50 on their home insurance renewal quote if it is over £250 (quotes under £250 qualify for a 25 per cent discount). Online home insurance customers enjoy a 10 per cent discount on car insurance, while all Privilege customers qualify for 25 per cent of the top two levels of breakdown cover available.

Kate Syred, Commercial Director at Privilege Insurance said: “Many of our customers never make a claim so, beyond providing them with good service and a competitive premium, it is difficult for us to prove how much we value their custom. That’s why we’ve used our buying power to put together a package of benefits that our customers can enjoy – for free.”
