NFU Mutual remains in pole position

22nd June 2007 Print
For the second year running, rural insurer NFU Mutual, has been rated Britain’s best car insurance provider by readers of Auto Express magazine. In a survey of over 30,000 of their readers, NFU Mutual gained the top overall approval rating for its motor insurance service from its own customers.

The magazine’s “Driver Power ” survey covered 45 leading insurance providers and readers were asked to rate the companies in four categories - communication, value for money, helpfulness and overall performance. A team of independent number-crunchers then calculated an average score for each company before Auto Express formed the overall ranking.

Auto Express tells its readers: “The firm has wiped the floor with the competition thanks to its clear communication, bend-over-backwards helpfulness and shining overall performance.

“For first-class cover you still can’t beat NFU Mutual.”

Sylvia Newham, Head of Corporate Communications at NFU Mutual said: “We are delighted to have come out top in the Auto Express survey for the second year running. To be voted top out of 45 companies in three out of the four categories and first overall, is truly outstanding and demonstrates that NFU Mutual’s personal service is still important to customers when they take out their car insurance and at the time of a claim.”
