Del Boy's plans to become a millionaire this time next year could be thwarted by his extortionate motor insurance premiums, according to Confused.com.

Despite owning a modest Reliant Robin, Del Boy's Peckham address drives his motor insurance up to a whopping annual average of £623.60, rising to as much as £928.50 in one instance. Del Boy is almost twice (182%) as risky to insure as fearless archaeologist, Tomb Raider's Lara Croft. Chelsea neighbour, James Bond - despite his propensity for high-speed car chases and gunfights - could end up paying £885.65 for his car insurance by insuring his DBS with Bell, compared with the £928.50 which Del Boy could end up paying if he fails to shop around and ends up insuring his vehicle with the most expensive insurer.
