RBS Insurance: Government's new Water Strategy

Commenting on the Government's new Water Strategy, Martin Hall, Director of Home Underwriting at RBS Insurance, owner of Direct Line and Churchill, said:"By 2080, up to 400,000 homes could face a very significant risk from surface water flooding. RBS Insurance welcomes the measures to tackle this issue in the Government's new Water Strategy.

"If insurers are to continue offering homeowners affordable flood cover as standard in the long-term, this strategy must be fully implemented. We will work with the Government and Sir Michael Pitt's review team to ensure this."
