Cheshire discounts Select home insurance contents premium

With the rising cost of living showing no signs of abating, Cheshire Building Society is helping home owners by offering an impressive 25 percent off its Select home insurance contents premium when a new joint buildings and contents policy is taken out.

Cheshire's Select home insurance is underwritten by RSA and was recently awarded the maximum five star rating by Defaqto, the independent financial data collection and research company.

The discount is available from 18 August 2008 and to take advantage of the offer, customers must get a quote by 14 November 2008.

The Cheshire's Select policy offers valuable benefits when compared to other policies on the market including home emergency cover as standard, no claims discount and no charge for monthly payment by direct debit.

The 25 percent discount is available for the first year and is open to Cheshire Building Society members and non members who do not currently hold a Select home insurance policy.
