ASDA is to become the first supermarket to offer choice and independent advice on the full range of UK Life and Protection products.

ASDA is reinforcing its status as the nation’s retail champion by offering access to all Life Insurance and Protection solutions on the UK open market, ensuring the best possible deal for all of its customers.

The new ASDA Life service, available both online and over the phone from 29 January 2007, will allow ASDA to be the only supermarket to offer individually tailored advice on personal Life and Protection products by having unprecedented access to the UK marketplace.

This new and unique proposition is in stark contrast to other retailers, who typically offer a one-size-fits-all product from just one insurer, without advice.

In a groundbreaking new partnership with independent specialist protection adviser LifeSearch, ASDA will be addressing customer needs by offering the nation a full range of products, including:

Life Insurance
Critical Illness Cover
Income Protection
Family Income Benefit
Whole of life insurance
advice will also be available on the potential use of Trusts
