Abbey special offer on 2 year fixed rate mortgage

As part of its latest range relaunch which goes live on Monday 26 November, Abbey Mortgages has introduced a special offer on its best 2-year fixed rate core mortgage.

The deal offers free legals and valuation for remortgage customers at a core product price. It is one of the best in the market and is for a limited time only.

Available at 5.79 per cent with £675 fee, this product is available for 8 days only and is open to people who can complete before 31 December 2007.

As well as the 8-day ‘special offer’, Abbey’s new range contains:

10 and 15-year fixed rate products for the price of our normal 5-year fixed rate deals – at 5.79 per cent with £595 fee

3-year fixed rate products for the price of our normal 2-year fixed rate product – at 5.79 per cent with £675 fee

Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, Abbey Head of Mortgages, said: "From 26 November for 8 days only, we are offering free legals and valuation on our core 2-year fixed rate mortgage product. Normally free legals and valuation are only available on our remortgage product, which has a rate of 5.89 per cent. However, this deal has a rate of 5.79 per cent and so offers great value for people who can complete before the end of the year.

“We’ve got a number of other great deals for customers too – especially for longer term mortgages. From 26 November we’ll be offering 10 and 15-year fixed rates mortgages for the price of our 5-year fix. We’re doing something similar for 3-year fixes which will be on offer for the price of 2-year fixes.”
