JPMorgan Asset Management funds added to Standard Life’s Life and Pensions platform

28th February 2007 Print
JPMorgan Asset Management is pleased to announce the addition of the JPM Global Property Securities Fund and the JPMorgan Cautious Total Return Fund to Standard Life Assurance Ltd’s Life and Pensions platform.

Mike Parsons, Head of UK Distributor Sales at JPMorgan Asset Management said,“We are delighted that these two funds have been added to Standard Life’s Life and Pensions platform, alongside the JPM Natural Resources Fund. This selection further strengthens the relationship between the two companies. This stands testament to our consistent performance and disciplined investment process.”

Graham Dow, Head of Investment Development at Standard Life Assurance Ltd said: “We are delighted that we have added the JP Morgan Global Property Securities Fund and the Cautious Total Return Fund to our Life and Pensions range, giving advisers and their clients increased choice in their investment decisions. Both funds are popular vehicles in diversified portfolios and will enhance the choice of investment funds already available on our life and pension products.

The JPMorgan Global Property Securities Fund represents an ideal way to increase the diversification of clients’ portfolios by providing exposure to a range of property markets around the globe. It aims for long term growth by investing in REITs and the shares of other property related companies.

The JPM Cautious Total Return Fund is designed to preserve capital while providing a better return than money markets, targeting cash +3% return over a three to five year time horizon. The fund suits investors looking for a core holding in their portfolio that will provide higher returns than those offered by cash deposit accounts, but who are concerned about the volatility of investing in a largely equity based fund. The fund will also suit investors who are uncertain which asset class will perform well in the future, or those individuals who would benefit from an actively managed, highly diversified portfolio.
