Schroder US Small & Mid Cap rated AA

The Schroder US Small & Mid Cap Fund has been upgraded from A to AA by Forsyth-OBSR and awarded an AA rating by Standard & Poor’s.

The fund, managed by Jenny Jones, has returned 13.75% over one year, outperforming the S&P500 by 3.11%, and the Russell 2500 by 4.29%. The Fund ranks top decile in the IMA North America Sector over one and two years, and since launch (29 April 2005). The AA ratings reflect the success of the fund’s research-oriented style of management, emphasising bottom-up stock selection, a diversified stock portfolio, and an experienced and committed US Small and Mid Cap team.

Standard and Poor’s commented: ”The fund has shown consistent outperformance of both benchmark and peer group, deriving primarily from stock selection. This, the disciplined process and experience of manager and team, enabled the fund to achieve an S&P AA rating.”

The Schroder US Small & Mid Cap Fund is supported by an experienced team of seven analysts (including Jenny Jones), each with sector research responsibilities. Minimum investment is £1,000 or £50 per month and the Annual Management Charge is 1.5%.
