Schroder ISF Global Climate Change Equity reaches $100M
Launched in Hong Kong on 29 June 2007, Schroder ISF Global Climate Change Equity has reached US$100M assets under management.The fund managed by Simon Webber and Matthew Franklin has experienced strong inflows since its IPO style launch in Hong Kong three weeks ago which raised an initial US$65M.
The fund invests in companies involved in mitigation of or adaptation to the effects of climate change and is not constrained by an index benchmark - enabling the investment team to identify the best investment opportunities globally across different sectors.
An onshore, unit trust, version of the Fund is due to launch in the UK in September 2007.
