Eighth consecutive appearance for ethical fund on Principal White List

F&C's Stewardship Income Fund, managed by Ted Scott and Hilary Aldridge, has once again made it onto the influential Principal White list of top performing UK Equity Income Funds.

The White List, which has been published bi-annually for more than 30 years by Sevenoaks-based Principal Investment Management, identifies 12 funds which have delivered both consistent total returns and low levels of risk over 5 years. Despite its 'dark green' ethical constraints, the Stewardship Income fund has delivered the lowest volatility, of just 2.7.

"There's a common misconception that funds with a strict ethical screen which cuts them off from a large portion of large and mega cap section of the market, will naturally be higher risk. Stewardship Income has disproved this theory time and time again by delivering not only strong performance but also low volatility compared to the competition," said Aldridge.
