James Hay adds fund from BlackRock to wrap platform

James Hay has added a fund from BlackRock Merrill Lynch to its Wrap platform.

The total number of funds now available on James Hay Wrap totals 1,246 from 50 different providers.

The fund to be added to the platform is BlackRock Merrill Lynch UK Absolute Alpha.

Shaun Sandiford, Regional Sales Director, James Hay, said: “We are delighted to offer this exciting fund from one of the global giants of fund management, BlackRock Merrill Lynch.

“The fund is managed by star fund manager Mark Lyttleton, who has a Citywire A rating. The fund aims to deliver a positive return regardless of UK market conditions rather than performing relative to a peer group or sector. The fund uses derivative techniques not normally employed by long only fund managers in order to generate absolute returns.”

Investors using James Hay Wrap can now choose retail and institutional funds, OEICS (Open Ended Investment Companies) and Unit Trusts at competitive and preferential terms. Together, the James Hay SIPP and Wrap businesses have over £12 billion under administration.
