Winterthur adds more Threadneedle funds to Tailored Selection

28th May 2008 Print
Four Threadneedle funds have been added to Winterthur's Tailored Selection range of Funds, and will be available across Winterthur's entire range of products.

The latest additions extend the range of Threadneedle funds to six on the pensions side, already including Threadneedle's Absolute Return Bond Fund and Threadneedle's Pension Property Fund, and complement the existing range of investment funds currently available through Winterthur's Tailored Selection fund range.

The latest additions are:

Threadneedle American Select Fund
Threadneedle UK Equity Income Fund
Threadneedle Global Select Fund
Threadneedle Latin America Fund

Martin Moore, head of investment distribution, Winterthur, says: "The addition of these four new Threadneedle funds will further expand choice for advisers and their clients at a time when investors are increasingly risk conscious and seeking a wider selection of funds. As the first in its sector to be included in the Tailored Selection Range, the Threadneedle Latin America Fund meets this demand perfectly.

"All of Threadneedle's funds benefit from the support of highly experienced and well resourced teams with clear investment processes. The Threadneedle American Select Fund aims to produce returns from a wide variety of sources and promotes a strong sell discipline, whilst the Global Select Fund offers genuine diversification with a global mandate. The UK Equity Income Fund benefits from a highly experienced manager in Leigh Harrison and has significant stock and sector positions, using Threadneedle's most robust investment themes."

Nick Winder, Head of UK Strategic Partners and Regional Sales at Threadneedle, comments: "We are delighted to offer investors another four Threadneedle funds via the Tailored Selection investment platform. We believe that the combination of our investment experience with Winterthur's pension expertise provides a robust investment option, we look forward to continuing our successful relationship with them."
