Legal & General achieves 'A' rating for Growth Trust
The Legal & General Growth Trust has been awarded an ‘A' rating by Old Broad Street Research (OBSR).OBSR provides Fund Ratings as an independent mark of quality. Based on a proven research process where qualitative research is supported by quantitative analysis, its ratings are evidence that it believes a fund is, for its type, consistently producing the returns it set out to deliver, and will continue to do so.
The Growth Trust is an actively managed UK equity fund managed by Legal & General's head of UK equities Robert Churchlow. Robert selects 25 ‘best ideas' principally from the FTSE 350. The stocks are selected on a bottom up basis with a major emphasis on fundamental research and company meetings.
