SLI's UK Equity High Income Fund awarded 'AAA' S&P rating

Leading fund manager, Standard Life Investments today announced that its UK Equity High Income Fund has been awarded a ‘AAA' fund management rating by ratings agency, Standard & Poor's.
19 out of SLI's 24 eligible and actively managed funds are rated ‘A' or above, including the complete range of UK Equity OEIC funds.

The fund, which is managed by Karen Robertson and the award-winning UK Equities team she works with, has produced top quartile performance over three, five and seven years. Over a five year period the fund returned 51% to investors -16% more than the sector average. In addition to this, the fund has produced an average income growth of 9.73% pa from the year 2000. Over the longer term, the fund aims to produce an above average dividend yield and capital growth. It holds around 65 stocks, with each holding being large enough to have an impact on the overall fund performance.
