Standard Life Investments wins Global Fixed Income Award

Standard Life Investments, global fund manager and one of the largest fixed interest managers in the UK, today announced that it has won the ‘Global Fixed Income, unhedged' category at the Asian Investor Awards 2009.

The award will be presented at an awards ceremony due to take place in Hong Kong on Thursday 21 May 2009.

The award focuses on the absolute and risk-adjusted performance of Standard Life Investments' global bond fund range. This includes the Global Bond SICAV Sub Fund, which has returned top quartile performance over one year and top decile performance over three and five years and the Global Inflation Fund which has returned top quartile performance over one year out performing its' sector average by 16% over the same period.

Standard Life Investments' highly experienced fixed income team manage over £50.9bn of fixed interest assets around the world, including a wide range of government, inflation-linked and corporate bond strategies across the credit spectrum for both retail and institutional investors.
