HEXAM and Argonaut funds added to Sesame panel
The Ignis HEXAM Global Emerging Markets Fund and the Ignis Argonaut European Income Fund have been approved by Sesame, the UK's leading IFA network and support services provider.Sesame Research undertakes an independent review and assessment of all new funds and products, based on detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis. Both Ignis funds now form part of Sesame Research's comprehensive ‘Recommended Products List', which is approved for use by Sesame's 7,500 members and adviser customers.
The Ignis HEXAM Global Emerging Markets Fund, managed by Bryan Collings, was launched in February 2009. The fund is a mirror of the Dublin-based Ignis HEXAM International Global Emerging Markets Fund, which has delivered consistent above-average returns since launch in November 2006, and returned 26.7% year-to-date compared with the index rise of 14.4%†. The UK-domiciled fund has recently been added to the Hargreaves Lansdown Wealth 150 list of recommended funds.
The Ignis Argonaut European Income Fund, managed by Oliver Russ, is currently yielding 5.6% net#, outpacing the majority of UK equity income funds. Russ has outperformed the IMA Europe (ex UK) sector average by 6.2% since his fund's launch in December 2005. The fund has achieved top-quartile performance with one of the lowest standard deviations (level of volatility) in its sector and has recently been awarded a four-star rating by investment research provider Morningstar.
